Nokia v Apple v RIM v Kodak v Blah Blah Blah
So I was reading this story at the BBC about how Kodak are now suing both Apple and RIM (who make Blackberries) over copyright infringements relating to some imaging software or other. Seems Nokia had already done the same to Apple, to which Apple launched a countersuit, and then Nokia said everything in every Apple product is infringing on Nokia patents.
What the hell is going on? Suddenly Apple better than everyone else, and therefore everything they make is infringing on some copyright? Sorry, but Apple make some quality products (and almost all of them have had some tech problems, including random explosions), and I would be happy to own every single one of them (except the iPhone, because I don't use don't use mobile phones much)
What in the hell is going on with the concept of competition? Surely just because companies make competing products, it shouldn't come down to "they stole our ideas" or "that's our tech".
Anyway, I think it's all because Apple charge so much and get good profits, and everyone else is just jealous.
Rant over!
